Shyam Benegal wins special IIFA honour(Second Lead)
By Arpana, Bangkok, June 8 : Veteran producer Shyam Benegal won the primary degree at the International Amerindic Film Academy (IIFA) 2008 awards here Sun period patch penalization composer A.R. Rahman and the monarch Rukh Khan starrer “Om Shanti Om” figured among the winners.
Mumtaz, a favourite grapheme of the yesteryears, was also titled for the IIFA primary honour, patch person Akshay Kumar bagged the primary honor from the patron country, Thailand.

“Chak De! India” also took bag the accolade for prizewinning cinematography. Imtiyaz calif was titled the prizewinning talking illustrator for “Jab We Met”.
